  • Flammable liquids and solids (e.g., gasoline, paint thinner).

  • Radioactive materials.
  • Poisons, pesticides, and other hazardous chemicals.
  • Firearms, ammunition, and parts of firearms unless authorized by the appropriate government authorities.

b. Narcotics and Controlled Substances

  • Illegal drugs and narcotics, including cannabis, cocaine, heroin, and other controlled substances as defined under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
  • Prescription drugs without proper documentation or approval from Indian authorities.

c. Currency, Valuable Items, and Precious Metals

  • Currency, banknotes, and coins.
  • Precious metals, including gold, silver, and platinum.
  • Diamonds, gemstones, and other high-value items, unless pre-approved by Atlantis Logistics and insured.

d. Perishable Goods

  • Perishable food items unless specially arranged for refrigerated transport.
  • Live animals and plants, unless specific approvals and arrangements are made.
  • Meat and meat products, unless transported under licensed and approved conditions.

e. Illegal and Restricted Items (As per Indian Law)

  • Goods that are restricted under Indian law, including items banned by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).
  • Endangered wildlife species and products derived from them, including ivory, furs, and animal skins, as regulated under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
  • Antiques and cultural artifacts unless accompanied by proper documentation and licenses as per the Antiquities and Art Treasures Act, 1972.

f. Intellectual Property-Infringing Items

  • Counterfeit goods, including fake branded merchandise, pirated software, and other items that infringe on intellectual property rights.
  • Unauthorized copies of books, music, movies, or other forms of media.

g. Offensive or Inappropriate Items

  • Pornographic material, as prohibited under Indian law.
  • Items deemed to promote or incite violence, hatred, or discrimination based on religion, race, ethnicity, or other protected characteristics.

3. Special Restrictions

Atlantis Logistics may impose additional restrictions on items not listed above, based on safety, security, or legal concerns. 4. Responsibilities of the Shipper

It is the responsibility of the shipper to ensure that the items they wish to ship comply with this Prohibited Items Policy and all applicable Indian laws. Atlantis Logistics reserves the right to inspect shipments and reject or confiscate any items that do not comply with this policy.

  • The shipper must declare all items truthfully and provide accurate documentation.

Atlantis Logistics reserves the right to take the following actions if prohibited items are discovered in shipments:

  • Immediate suspension or cancellation of services.

  • The shipper may be held liable for any damages, fines, or legal consequences arising from the violation of this policy.
